What is a Dojo?

At a Dojo, the participants, who we call Ninjas, learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, and games, and explore technology in a fun and creative way. Ninjas also meet like-minded peers, work on exciting team and individual projects, and learn valuable social and transferable skills for the future. No, prior coding experience is required.

Upcoming Dojo

Check back soon. CoderDojo Augusta starts in November.

We are excited to launch Augusta's first CoderDojo! We are looking forward to bringing these creative and exciting projects to kids throughout our community.

Volunteers are vital to our Dojo. Dojos need general volunteers, technical and non-technical mentors for sessions. Not all mentors have to have technical skills; however, all mentors of young people should be there to encourage them to discover their own way forward.
